Maintenance and system notices
Maintenance and system notices keep you informed about planned maintenance windows and important platform updates – for example a short period of unavailability due to a system update.
Not to be confused with: these notices are not the daily IBKR maintenance window (see "IBKR maintenance-window banner"). They are messages from WheelTrading itself.
Where you see them
- Header banner: an ongoing maintenance is shown as a notice banner
at the top while it is active.
- Support area: under Account → Support the section "Maintenance
and system notices" lists all current and past notices.
- Lifebuoy icon: the lifebuoy in the header shows a number when there
are unread active notices (or open support replies).
Notice status
- Scheduled: the maintenance is announced but has not started yet.
Scheduled notices only appear from their start time.
- Active: the maintenance is currently in progress.
- Completed: the maintenance has finished.
- Cancelled: the planned maintenance was called off.
Each notice also carries an impact level (low, medium, high).
Mark as read
You can acknowledge every notice with "Mark as read". After that it no longer counts toward the badge on the lifebuoy.
Completed or cancelled maintenance no longer triggers a new badge count – it stays visible in the Support area for your information only.
Note
Start and expected end are shown in your local time. An expected end is an estimate and may shift.
