Auto-logout & session timeout
WheelTrading logs you out automatically after a configurable period of inactivity (banking standard). Activity is detected via mouse, keyboard, scroll and touch events.
Default
15 minutes. A warning ("Stay logged in") appears 60 seconds before the logout.
Change it yourself
Dashboard -> Account -> Security -> "Session & Auto-logout" panel.

Important
- The change is applied immediately in the current tab.
- On other devices/browsers it only takes effect at the next login,
because the JWT token is issued with the new lifetime (web_session_timeout + 5 min buffer, max 24 h).
- "Never" is recommended only for dedicated machines, not for public or
shared computers.
Manual logout ends ALL sessions
Since 2026-06-25: clicking "Logout" also invalidates every other parallel session of the same account (e.g. a second browser tab, a different device). Reasoning: a stolen token (e.g. via someone borrowing your browser) should not stay alive just because your current tab said "logout".
Practically: log out on a device you didn't mean to stay logged into, and any other open sessions are terminated at the same time. Your authenticator secret stays unchanged.
