Status bar & navigation
The status bar at the top of the dashboard summarizes the most important account numbers in real time and contains a few useful tools.
Status bar tiles
| Tile | Meaning |
|---|---|
| NLV | Net liquidation value — total value of your account. |
| Cash | Available cash. On hover/tablet you see the per-currency splits. |
| Stocks | Market value of open stock positions. The green badge shows the number of symbols. |
| Options | Market value of open options. The green badge shows the number of active contracts. |
| PnL today | Today's gain/loss in the selected currency. |
| Performance | Direct link to the performance dashboard with cumulative return. |
FX rate
On wider screens you see the current EUR/USD exchange rate with four decimals. The rate comes from the most recent account snapshot from IBKR and is refreshed on every sync.
Switch currency
The €/$ icon toggles all values between euro and US dollar. The choice is stored per browser. No actual conversion happens on your account — only the display changes.
Synchronization
The refresh button (arrow-in-circle) triggers an immediate sync with IBKR. The icon spins while the sync runs. Max 60 seconds, after which the state resets automatically.
When to use it:
- Right after a manual trade in TWS/IBKR mobile.
- When cash, positions or options look stale.
Sticky navigation
On desktops the section nav on the left stays visible while scrolling. On mobile a horizontal pill bar appears at the top instead.
Auto-expand: Clicking a nav entry (e.g. "Dividends") will automatically open the matching panel if it was collapsed. This also applies to the cockpit sub-panels (positions, risk, allocation).
